Synopsis
An adolescent growing up in a sheltered environment develops an obsessive-compulsive disorder that manifests itself in the form of a water creature, first amicably, later as a self-destructive force.
WASSERWESEN (working title) aims to contribute to the media representation and destigmatisation of people with mental health conditions. The project is funded by the Thüringer Staatskanzlei (Thuringian State Chancellery) and is professionally supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft Zwangserkrankungen e.V. (German Society for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders). Currently, the short film is in pre-production.
