Is it possible to shoot a film without a script and to create a narrative out of disjointed shots in the editing?
SCHNEEBEDECKT DIE GRÜNE FLUR (SNOW-COVERED GREEN FIELD) began with the idea of staging absurd moments and arranging the footage cohesively afterwards. The first cut proved to be a meaningless accumulation of scenes. Emerging from a dynamic process of developing concepts and editing, the film was given a coherent structure. For this, additional shots were filmed, and the footage was restructured again and again. The result is an experimental work about approach and encounter.
